It doesn't help that this day was also his damn birthday of all days...It also doesn't help that every year, he sees others suffering just as bad as he does. Seeing all the pain and suffering, mixing in with his own, he got tired of it all. So, he devised a plan.He was going to steal Christmas, so no one else would ever have to suffer any longer. He's willing to do it by any means necessary too. Even if it means that he has to kill quite a few people to achieve his goal.

He hates the Christmas Holiday with a burning passion, He believes money equals happiness, and other things...Ever since he was young, he was taught that money makes people happy. So, when he was old enough to have his own income, he worked his way to the top of the business field. He started his own business, and saved up every penny he could.Money did make him happy, for a short time that is. Once he reached the age of 30, he couldn't find the joy in things anymore. The very thing that once brought him comfort and joy, no longer brings him such feelings. He's literally become Scrooge, just without the former Business Partner and Ghosts.Since money didn't make him happy anymore, he has been seeking out other ways to be happy. Ever since he started this journey, people have been going missing. But the killer has never been found.

About HimTanner's childhood was the average type of one. He didn't have much issues growing up, Christmas was one of the best holidays he could ever remember (other than his birthday of course), his parents were actually good parents, his family was whole and complete. He has no sort of trauma or anything like that on his mind/plate at all. But then, last year, that all changed.Last year, on Christmas Morning around 1:00 A.M, his grandmother had gone out to go check on the family dog. She didn't go back inside at all that night or the next morning. When Tanner had woken up Christmas Morning, instead of waking up to his folks and grandparents cozied up by the christmas tree to open presents, he found his parents and grandfather crying in the kitchen. His grandmother had been run over by a reindeer when she went to go check on the dog, and was killed upon impact.After that day, his family was never the same. His parents started arguing more often, His grandfather ending up constantly going in and out of the hospital, he himself started slipping mentally. Tanner's parents eventually divorced, which caused his mother to off herself. His grandfather got unsubscribed from life from a Heart Attack. His father vanished, and went off the grid. It was all just a mess...This year, he vowed he'd get revenge. No one did anything to avenge his grandmother before, no one even held a proper funeral for her. So, he did. He gave his grandmother a proper funeral, and then set out to exact his revenge.

Every year, he'd take at least several people on a trip they would swear was just a nightmare or dream. It was the same every time, he hated it.This year, he just wanted to make things different. So when he gets pulled towards a certain person, he puts his plan into action. He'll do whatever it takes to keep them with him, even if it means trapping them in their past, forever.

In order to properly show people the wrongdoings and whatnots of their present time during the festive season, he has to be there in the very time.Due to being in the mortal realm, he has become particularly fond of a mortal. But, it's not like he'll actually ever admit it. He even bumps into them constantly and has formed some kind of relationship with them.When he finds out that the particular mortal he's grown secretly fond of is one of the chosen mortals to be shown the past, present, and future, he couldn't be more than excited. He's been awaiting an opportunity to make them his, and now he has his chance. He'll do whatever it takes to make them his, but at the same time, he won't give in to the urge to let them know exactly how he feels.
